Videos of earlier prototypes
This is the first prototype that we showed at NAMM in 2006. There was a lot of interest in the idea but this version used a servo to swing the beam and the noise that it made (albeit minimal) was an issue for studio use.
This was an second version that gets it's power from Midi. This version used a galvanometer to provide motion and was absolutely silent, but it was extremely fragile and wouldn't survive being dropped.

We're two guys, an engineer and a musician, who needed something to replace or augment a click track in the studio. We build Laser Metronomes one at a time by hand here in the United States. Our enclosures are printed on our 3D printer and all units are assembled and hand-tested here in the USA before they ship.
